KMP received the RGB (Rwanda Governance Board) award

During the governance month (april 2013), Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) awarded some civil society organisations for their Contribution in Country building. Those are pictures of KMP members celelbrating this Award

KMP visited schools of Nyamagabe district

On 24th April2013, KMP Foundation in partnership with World Vision, offered a big concert to more than 1500 students of Nyamagabe District in South province. This artistic activity (with songs, poems and theater), is in the line of the KMP permanent program called: "THE CONTRIBUTION OF ART IN RWANDAN YOUTH EDUCATION ON PEACE AND RECONCILIATION VALUES"

KMP during 19th commemoration of tutsi-genocide

12th April 2013, during 19th commemoration of the genocide against Tutsi, KMP Foundation organised a visit in the village of survivors of genocide. Songs of hope and Peace have been shared by Kizito Mihigo to orphans and widow (&widower) in Kinyinya Villange. The next day (13th april), KMP visited the Nyanza Prison, one of the largest prisons in Rwanda with over 6,000 prisoners among them more than 5000 for genocide. Testimony about forgiveness and reconciliation was given to prisonners by Kizito Mihigo  . Prisonners also gave their testimonies about repentance and their contribution in peacebuilding.

KMP received students from Rhode Island (USA)

April 19, 2013, at KMP Headquarter, Kizito Mihigo received students from Woonsoket school in the State of Rhode Island in United States of America. These students came to learn from the activities of the KMP Foundation. Kizito Mihigo gave them the testimony of his life during the genocide and said that KMP activities are a kind of contination of this testimony. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about life of the founder and the foundation.

KMP received students from the United States of America

On February 22nd, 2013, students from Harwood Union High School, have been received by Kizito Mihigo at KMP haedquarter. During a one hour meeting, Kizito Mihigo has shared with students and their educators, the testimony of his life during genocide, the forgiveness and reconciliation process, and KMP activities for Peace and Reconciliation building.
