Today the Rwanda Patriotic Front presidential candidate and chairman President Paul Kagame was in Nyagatare where he addressed tens of thousands of supporters urging them to elect a leader that can continue the good achievements and one that would appreciate their participation in the elections.
In the Eastern Province the Rwandan leader also visited Gatsibo district on his way back to Kigali and was expected to make a stop in Kayonza where he would address another gathering of RPF supporters.
President Kagame said that the country has come from a sad past and would continue to make good achievements under the leadership of RPF when reelected for another seven year term and the third consecutive one.
He told people in the Eastern province the agenda to electrify and build feeder roads will be implemented in the next term when he is reelected.
And promised them to show his appreciation for their supportive stance for the party and government he leads later on after the August 3 and 4 elections.
He had earlier on said that RPF would not leave no one behind and expects to support the weaker, and provide youth the opportunities they need to build their future.
“We want our progress to be founded on the strength of our youth and the wisdom of those who came before us,”he said in Kicukiro district Kigali city.
He has occasionally recited the need to engage the youths in national constructive activities much that they can eradicate from poverty and be self-sustained.
The incumbent leader has led the first two seven year terms and an interim government for three years, the next seven years will bring the tally to 24 years.
