“RPF leaves no one behind. To those who are weaker, we will hold you up. To the elderly, we will be your support and reach far with you by our side. To the youth, we will provide the opportunities you need to build your future. We want our progress to be founded on the strength of our youth and the wisdom of those who came before us.”
The Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF) presidential candidate incumbent President Paul Kagame says of a country that the party he leads as chairman has seen achieve a lot in such short time and after an obstructive mayhem of the 1994 Genocide that not only left the Rwandan community shattered but seeking to redefine its new course of development.
“Uniting Rwandans wasn’t a miracle, it took hard work,” he says of a people that were once set apart by tribal-sectarian regimes that only sought to hold the country backward and subjugating a majority ignorant people.
